Taylor Caramore, MSN, RN, NC-BC, HNB-BC, is a highly accomplished nursing professional whose career reflects a deep commitment to patient care, leadership, education, and holistic wellness. With extensive experience spanning critical care, oncology coordination, school health, nursing leadership, and higher education, she has dedicated her professional life to improving outcomes for patients while mentoring and developing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As the Founder of Caramore Coaching, Taylor has expanded her impact beyond traditional healthcare settings by integrating her extensive nursing expertise with evidence-based holistic nurse coaching principles. Through her coaching practice, she supports individuals seeking greater clarity, resilience, and confidence as they navigate personal and professional transitions.

Caramore Coaching was intentionally designed to serve individuals facing demanding responsibilities and emotionally complex circumstances. Her clients include healthcare professionals experiencing career transitions or burnout, caregivers supporting loved ones with chronic illnesses or complex medical conditions, and children and adolescents managing long-term physical or mental health challenges. Drawing upon years of clinical experience and leadership, Taylor provides personalized guidance that helps individuals identify their strengths, develop sustainable coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives.

In addition to supporting those navigating life transitions and caregiving responsibilities, Taylor offers specialized coaching pathways for nursing students preparing for the NCLEX examination. Through structured coaching and mentorship, she helps students reduce overwhelm, build confidence, strengthen critical thinking skills, and develop effective strategies for clinical decision-making. Her approach emphasizes both academic preparation and personal well-being, recognizing that success in nursing requires resilience as well as knowledge.

At the heart of her coaching philosophy is a mission to help individuals reconnect with themselves, gain clarity about their goals, and move forward with intention. Every coaching relationship is guided by the core values of clarity, honesty, growth, support, and intention, creating an environment where clients feel empowered to pursue lasting transformation.

Taylor’s professional journey is grounded in a strong academic foundation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Binghamton University and later completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nurse Leadership from The George Washington University. Throughout her career, she has held numerous clinical and leadership positions within respected healthcare organizations, demonstrating excellence in both patient care and healthcare administration.

Among her leadership roles, Taylor served as a Clinical Nurse Manager overseeing large cardiac surgery, telemetry, and intensive care units. In this capacity, she managed multidisciplinary healthcare teams, directed staffing operations, oversaw budgeting and quality improvement initiatives, and supported employee development and professional growth. Her leadership abilities were particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she played a critical role in managing designated COVID units and supporting frontline healthcare professionals through one of the most challenging periods in modern healthcare.

Her clinical expertise is equally impressive. As a Neuro Critical Care Nurse at the University of Virginia, Taylor provided care for patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions requiring highly specialized interventions and monitoring. She later expanded her expertise into oncology, serving as an RN Care Coordinator for patients diagnosed with head and neck cancer and melanoma. In this role, she coordinated multidisciplinary treatment plans, ensured continuity of care, and helped patients navigate the complexities of cancer treatment with compassion and confidence.

Beyond her clinical and leadership accomplishments, Taylor is deeply passionate about nursing education. She has served as both an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Clinical Professor at Broome Community College, where she taught undergraduate nursing students and evaluated clinical competency. Today, she continues her educational contributions as an Adjunct Professor for Binghamton University’s RN-to-BSN program, helping registered nurses advance their education and professional development. Her dedication to teaching reflects her belief that lifelong learning is essential to advancing the nursing profession and improving patient care.

Currently based in Norfolk, Virginia, Taylor lives with her family and her three daughters, who inspire her commitment to service, compassion, and personal growth. She serves as a school nurse while continuing her work in nursing education and professional development. In June 2026, she earned the distinguished credential of Board-Certified Holistic Health Nurse (HNB-BC), further strengthening her ability to provide whole-person care and wellness-focused support. She is also preparing to begin doctoral studies in Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University in August 2026, continuing her commitment to scholarship, leadership, and professional growth.

“What I truly enjoy most about nursing is the opportunity to work one-on-one with individuals and build meaningful, trusting relationships,” says Taylor. “I value the ability to connect deeply with patients, families, and small teams, which is what initially drew me into nursing leadership and management. I have genuinely loved every stage of my nursing career—whether in critical care, oncology, education, or management—because each role has allowed me to grow while making a meaningful impact on others.”

She continues, “Over time, I have found that what fulfills me most is helping people understand the connection between their health and every other part of their lives. I am especially passionate about the holistic nature of care—the way behavior, lifestyle, emotional well-being, and physical health are all interconnected. That perspective is what continues to make nursing deeply meaningful to me.”

Through her diverse experiences in clinical practice, leadership, education, and holistic health coaching, Taylor Caramore continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, families, students, and communities. Her unwavering dedication to compassionate care, personal growth, and professional excellence positions her as a trusted leader and advocate for holistic well-being in today’s evolving healthcare landscape.
