Luke Perry, DO, is a vascular surgeon with Penn State Health, where he provides comprehensive vascular care across multiple hospitals within the Penn State Hershey and Holy Spirit systems in central Pennsylvania. Having recently completed his vascular surgery fellowship, Dr. Perry has transitioned into independent practice, bringing advanced training, evidence-based care, and a patient-centered philosophy to individuals facing complex vascular conditions.
Dr. Perry’s practice encompasses a broad range of vascular procedures and treatments, including carotid disease management, aortic aneurysm repair, dialysis access creation, and advanced endovascular interventions. His clinical interests are increasingly centered on chronic limb-threatening ischemia and peripheral arterial disease, with a strong focus on limb preservation and amputation prevention.
“What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is caring for patients with peripheral arterial disease, who are often medically complex and require broad, thoughtful, and individualized care,” says Dr. Perry. “There is a constant challenge—and opportunity—to prevent amputations and meaningfully improve quality of life.”

Dr. Perry earned his Undergraduate Degree from Shippensburg University before obtaining his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech. He completed his general surgery residency at Inspira Health Network and went on to complete a vascular surgery fellowship at UT Health San Antonio.
In addition to his civilian medical career, Dr. Perry proudly serves as a Major in the United States Army Reserve, where he practices as a general surgeon. His military service further reflects his commitment to leadership, discipline, and patient care in high-demand environments.
An advocate for long-term patient relationships and thoughtful surgical decision-making, Dr. Perry prioritizes strong clinical outcomes, individualized treatment plans, and consistent follow-up care. He remains actively involved in the vascular surgery community through memberships in the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American Venous Forum, and VESS.
